I purchased one of these

I purchased one of these because I do a lot of catch and release and fishing in restricted waters that limit to barbless hooks. They are light, small, tough and do the job!

Too small toylike. Works ok

Too small toylike. Works ok for the occasional crimping but only for the smaller sizes 16 and smaller. Did not make a satisfactory crimp on size 14 and larger hooks. Size of the pliers is too small to be effective. I dont have large hands and they just dug into my palm while crimping forcing me to stop and finish my batch with regular pliers with padded handles. Dont waste your money instead get a proper set of pliers with flat jaws. My 2 cents.
