The Coq de Leon Hen Capes are much sought after and fairly hard to come by. There is nothing like the buggy, speckled, badgery goodness that these feathers bring to a fly.

Most often sought as a tailing material and legs on wet flies and nymphs but also make for some great collar hackle as well on a variety of patterns. Also make for some super sexy dry fly wings. Most excellent on March Brown and Drake style flies!

You'll find a wide variety of sizes of feathers here and will be using this cape for a long time. The other cool thing is that they are now leaving the "soft hackle" patches on the sides (picture 2) so you get quite a bit of the saddle type feathers as well.
