I actually am not scheduled to tie streamers until next month, so I haven’t used these 4x hooks yet, but I HAVE used drys, jigs, 1x, 2x and 3x all year. The perform like hooks that cast 2 and 3 times as much, Sharpness, stiffness and strength seem to match industry standards. I’ve got an order coming in Saturday for 600 parachute Adams in size 12-22, I’ve already tied 100 from my stock. I’ve never had a problem, the friends I give them to never complain and when I buy Togens brand hooks, I have money left to dress some flys with. Buy a few, tie with them, poke your finger, bend them, fish with them, catch with them and bring the trout to hand, with the savings buy your fishing buddy’s the first beer.

sore points for materials I need for my bench are hooks and beads, they can drive the cost per fly through the roof, they can drive it to a buck before you even put some clothes on them. Togens sells their hooks for under 15 cents each! These are not cheap Chinese knock offs with no quality control, they’re sharp, don’t bend, don’t snap, don’t let you down. They leave some cash in your pocket for feathers and fur. Get ya some.
