Great kit. Everything is useful. Except since when do we need two waxes. When I started this hobby I used bees wax that I got form a neighbor who kept honey bees.

Like many fly tyers I am always trying to find the best deal on quality materials and supplies, that includes head cement and wax. When I saw the Loon Bench Set I was intrigued, many of the items included in the set were things I had used and that I liked. There were a couple of new-to-me products in the kit as well which would be nice to try out. The price was good and Togens has always been a good online shop for this Ontarian so I ordered it. The Loon Bench Kit is awesome, each item is high quality and useful for tyers from beginners to advanced. Whip finish tool!!!

I’ve used other styles of whip finish tools but this by far my favourite so far! Also the bobbin so comfortable and the tension is good I prefer it to my stonfo adjustable bobbin now. Hackle pliers are quality as is the scissors! This kit literally improved the quality of my flies immediately!
