The Sawtooth rod: The Sawtooth is one of our most all around rod models. It is 12 ft. in length and collapses down to 20 inches and has a medium action to it. It is probably the rod we recommend the most for people just starting out and if you have room to cast! If your primary fishing areas are have more overhang and obstacles then you might want to go with a smaller rod like the Sierra. We love the Sawtooth because it can handle bigger fish (we have caught 15+ pound Salmon in Alaska on this rod!) but has a soft enough action that you will still have fun catching 6 inch trout. Our tenkara rods are ultra light weight and the swivel tips included on our tenkara rods also help keep your line from getting tangled. This rod is finished with a maroon and burnt orange colorway.
