Mail Knot Tool and Tippet Rings Poor Quality

Togans is great but their nail knit tool is very ooor quality. I spent about 15 minutes with 1000 grit sandpaper eliminating all the sharp edges. Don’t buy it! I also bought their tippet rings and they are equally poor quality. I test tied with one and 4x tippet and the tippet broke under very little stress with every knot. I looked at the ring under a microscope and it has square edges like it was stamped from a flat sheet. Tippet rings need to be round like a doughnut or else they will easily cut the tippet. Quite disappointed in both of these things. I hope this isn’t an indication of Togan’s overall quality now that they sold the company.
