This Togens Scud 3X Heavy Wire is a strong version of our popular scud hook, it is designed for fishermen who need tougher hooks for powerful fish, like steelhead. They extra wire strength also helps accelerate sinking speed of subsurface flies.
Togens hooks are made of premium high-carbon steel, hardened for strength and durability, providing a long point life and an extremely strong hook. Togens hooks use a constant taper. This provides a reliable shape, assuring no weak spots, and provides a shocking speed of penetration.
