I really like those large eye 3x scud hooks. They are super heavy duty and will hold a large fish. I bought #18 and #20. Tied up a dozen of each size.

The straggle legs give that extra movement to get the trouts attention and oh how nice it is to catch fish in colder weather.

I’ve used token hooks over the years. They’re very good.

Only thing is I wish it had holes each dubbing slot for easier access and so the colors wouldn’t mix.

Togens Fly Shop is a fine example of outstanding customer service. Products are great, quick shipping is a real positive. My experience with all products ordered has always been positive. And, for the price your hooks are so much stronger than our local store brands.

I have a large family and for birthdays and Xmas they always give me gift cards which I use to purchase fly tying supplies and wood working tools. I don't know why, but I can't use these cards in Canada, so I must turn to local sources for supplies and tools. I would rather deal with you folks than use our local sources. Your customer service is so much better. So as a suggestion, it would be a real treat is you all could or would accept gift cards from the US. I have a PayPal account I could use, but it is a pain to keep the payment cards updated and because our pay pal account was hacked into a while back I rarely use PP anymore.

I have not opened the grizzly hen saddles yet. I did want to say, out of all the fly shops that I purchase from Togens stands above the rest.

Togens Scud 3X Heavy

I was searching for an item that proved to be very difficult to locate. Togen appeared as a supplier. I’ve never heard of them. You never know until you give them a chance. I got the item I sorely needed and now Togen is on the list of my fly tying suppliers. Well done.
